Privacy Policy

Untl has no user accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting. This page describes the data that arises when you visit this website and through the few network features of the app.

This website

The website is delivered through Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc., USA). To serve the page and protect it from abuse, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as your IP address, date and time, the requested page and browser details. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (operating and securing the website). A data processing agreement is in place with Cloudflare; transfers to the USA rely on standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

The website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking services. Fonts and images are served from the same host.

Third-party links

The website links to GitHub (downloads, releases). Data is only sent to GitHub once you click such a link; GitHub's own privacy policy applies.

The app

Your timers, shortcuts and settings stay on your Mac. The app makes only these connections:

• Update check: The app asks the GitHub API for new versions and downloads updates from GitHub. GitHub technically sees your IP address. The check can be switched off in Settings. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
• Feedback (only if you send it): Your message, optionally your email address, the app version, the macOS version and the language are forwarded to me through a Cloudflare Worker and delivered via Telegram. I use the data only to reply and to improve the app, and delete it when it is no longer needed. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) or (b) GDPR. The email address is optional.

Your rights

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Write to natedevj@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
